Disclaimer
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This Disclaimer applies to the website, API, generated quotations, documentation, examples, and related services provided by QUOTC LLC (“QUOTC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Nature of the quotations
QUOTC quotations are generated algorithmically. They are not official exchange quotations, actual interbank rates, executable market prices, or records of real transactions. They do not reflect the actual state of the financial markets.
Currency-pair names, timestamps, price fields, charts, and other familiar financial formats do not change the generated nature of the data.
Any resemblance to actual prices or market behaviour does not establish that the quotations represent real trading activity, liquidity, supply and demand, or economic events.
Generated quotations must not be relied upon as verified market data, official reference rates, or evidence of transactions that occurred in a real market.
2. No advice or execution commitment
QUOTC provides data and technical access to that data. We do not provide investment, trading, legal, tax, or other professional advice through the service.
Nothing provided by QUOTC constitutes a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to enter into a financial transaction, or a commitment to execute or settle a transaction at a generated price.
You must independently assess whether the service is appropriate for your intended use. No statement, example, support response, or demonstration guarantees financial results or suitability for a particular purpose.
3. No warranties
Except for obligations expressly accepted in a binding agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QUOTC disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that:
Generated quotations correspond to actual market prices or conditions.
The service will meet every technical, commercial, or regulatory requirement.
Data will be delivered without interruption, delay, duplication, omission, or error.
A connected platform, trading strategy, or business model will operate successfully or profitably.
Every defect will be identified or corrected within a particular period.
4. Independent third-party projects
A website, application, broker, trading platform, or other project using QUOTC data remains independently responsible for its operations.
The supply of quotations does not make QUOTC the operator, broker, financial counterparty, custodian, guarantor, or supervisor of a project using those quotations.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate binding agreement, QUOTC does not control or assume responsibility for a third-party project’s:
Products, representations, advertising, or customer disclosures.
Licensing, regulatory status, or legal compliance.
Trading rules, execution methods, settlement, or calculation of results.
Customer accounts, deposits, balances, withdrawals, or refunds.
Security, solvency, business continuity, or handling of complaints.
Modification, display, redistribution, or misuse of quotation data.
The use of QUOTC data, name, or logo does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement, certification, partnership, or guarantee.
Claims concerning a third-party project must be directed to its responsible operator. This does not restrict claims against QUOTC for matters for which QUOTC is legally responsible.
5. Responsibility for integration and use
You are responsible for your integration, infrastructure, credentials, data validation, storage, calculations, and presentation of information to your users.
You must clearly disclose the generated nature of QUOTC quotations wherever they are displayed or used. You must not present them as official exchange data or actual market prices.
QUOTC does not assume responsibility for losses caused by your implementation, unauthorised access through compromised credentials, misleading presentation, alteration of data, or use outside the agreed scope.
Access to the API does not grant regulatory authorisation or establish that your intended activity is lawful.
6. Exclusion of losses
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QUOTC LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the service.
This exclusion includes loss of profit, revenue, business opportunities, anticipated savings, goodwill, data, or business continuity, and losses arising from third-party claims, to the extent such losses may lawfully be excluded.
To the same extent, QUOTC shall not be liable for trading losses, investment losses, transaction outcomes, settlement differences, or customer liabilities resulting from reliance on generated quotations.
These exclusions apply regardless of the legal basis of the claim and whether the possibility of the loss was disclosed or foreseeable.
7. Limitation of liability
Subject to section 9, where QUOTC’s liability cannot be excluded but may lawfully be limited, QUOTC’s total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the service shall not exceed the fees actually paid to QUOTC for the affected API key during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This limit applies collectively to related claims arising from the same event or series of connected events. A different limit expressly agreed in a separate binding agreement takes precedence.
8. Business-user indemnity
Where you use the service for business purposes, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify QUOTC against reasonable third-party claims, damages, and legal costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, misleading representation of generated quotations, or breach of your contractual obligations.
This obligation does not extend to losses attributable to QUOTC’s own breach of law or contract, negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.
9. Mandatory legal protections
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing removes mandatory consumer rights or overrides obligations expressly accepted by QUOTC in a binding agreement.
If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
10. Related documents and contact
This Disclaimer should be read together with the QUOTC Risk Warning, Privacy Policy, and applicable service agreement. It does not replace contractual terms governing access, payment, licensing, or dispute resolution.
